This is an expansion of Coleg Sir Gâr’s ‘Virtual College’ on-line learning facility and is aimed at 'hobbyists' and individuals i.e. people who wish to learn about 'new things' that interest them, such as Digital Photography, Using Computers, The Internet, Building Websites, Using web tools to Communicate with friends and family, Using Microsoft Office etc. Leisure learning courses consist of individual units of study (normally 10 hours) delivered over 5 weeks. All our courses are fully accredited by UK awarding bodies including EdExcel and OCN, so you'll receive a Certificate on completion. There is no travelling involved and you can access your programme of study 24 hours a day, 7 days a week from anywhere with an internet connection. All learning resources are available online and each learner is fully supported by qualified teachers and lecturers with many years experience both in the classroom and as online tutors. Our tutors provide weekly advice and guidance throughout your programme of study and assess the work you submit to achieve the overall unit or course completion.

Because you do not have to attend a centre of learning and you have uninterrupted access to the website, you can study at any time in the week, day or night! The assessment for any particular week can be completed at any time that suits you.
